Hi Deltalmperial

I'll try my best to answer your question.

1) What was my experience, first learning digital art.

> I'm animation train. I got serious into digital art when I'm 21 or 22? Although I'm not formally train, I touch a bit of different medium when I was young. I started to experiment with digital painting when I was doing my final year project for my animation course. Using it to touch up my watercolor background. That was in 1999? or 2000? It haven't cross my mind that I can do it for a living. It was when I started to look for work after 2.5 years of army ( National service that all Singaporean male have to service) that i started to seriously think of improving my digital art. I happen to landed myself into an small animation production house which I was assign to do concept development and background painting. The company close down due to mis-management. (Well, what's new. Haa. ) So I have been kind of digitally painting since then.

2) How long did it take you to get to where you are now?

> Gosh. It's a hard question. For digital painting, I've been doing it since 2000? So that is 13 years or so? 2.5 years in army. So about 11 years of serious painting. And a lot of drawing/doodling before that.

I guess I'm kind of a slow learner. I got all my knowledge from here and there. Books, website and whatever I can get my hands on. So yeah. I'm still trying to push and see how far I can go with my skill.

Anyway, I wish you all the best. :) Cheers.
